    Dodge


    Dodge formed 1899 when brothers John and Horace Dodge began building bicycles. In 1910, the brothers aimed at becoming the largest auto parts manufacturer, but in 1914, unveiled their first vehicle.

    In 1928, Dodge was purchased by the Chrysler Corporation, and it has since become a division of the recently merged DaimlerChrysler AG Corporation. Dodge has brought dependability and performance to its model line, which includes such regarded models as the award-winning full-size Intrepid, the ½-ton pickup Ram 1500, the Caravan minivan and the Durango sport utility.
